There are three reasons our software doesn’t auto-renew

1. Respect for our customers. We don’t attempt to lock them in.
2. Security. If we include software to control your computer, bad guys might attempt to use that same approach to tell your computer what to do.
3. Any exposure to the internet poses a risk, a point of potential attack. We’d rather not expose our customers to any avoidable risk, even if it reduces our income a bit.
