My question was
“Would you like to provide a quotation on the rollout of Doxserá 2.0 in return for public recognition of your firm?”
And our customer’s very thoughtful, disappointing, and gracious response in its entirety
I’m not sure I dare do that Bob – I would really love to, as I’m completely in love with Doxserá – but as a Consultant Psychologist/Expert Witness for the Courts, it’s critical for people to believe that each client assessment is highly individual – which of course it very much is – my opinion is always carefully thought out.
Nowadays though, they want the same high quality assessment and report for less than half the cost, and in one-third time – so Doxserá is literally allowing my firm to survive. It takes the headache out of all of the repetitive parts of clinical information gathering – with drop down menus I can create for client responses which save an enormous amount of interviewing time – and these can then get linked to interpretative paragraphs from which I can build an individual report with different snippets of text. In the end, there are only so many ways human beings run their psychological patterns… because the most personal is often most universal – so Doxserá is truly amazing – getting rid of the mundane repetitive elements of the clinical report, so I still have the time left to think through my opinion carefully.
The problem is, if anyone thought the assessment reports were template based in any way, the publicity, far from being useful, would probably end my professional life…
If you can think of a way in which you can use any of the above without it backfiring on me, I’d be happy to help…

So, we agreed to a few minor changes to mask identity in order to publish this post.
It is by far the most generous “No” I’ve ever received or even seen and I will learn from its graciousness.
