Another Reason to Trade Up
There was a time when the typical Form created with TheFormTool might have 15-20 variables and a handful of questions. Those days are long gone, likely to never return.
Our customers’ comfort with PRO grew quickly and so did their forms. In response, we developed Doxserá with the idea that forms could stay logically coherent (cover a single subject) while being able to be combined into Sets (numbers of forms of related subjects). Simply put, Doxserá introduced the ability to simultaneously create several documents with a single click. It also allows a form to automatically bring into itself external text or graphics needed to fit circumstances.
We recently worked with a firm that illustrated a terrific reason to upgrade from PRO to Dox: a huge proportion of the firm’s business is built around a single form that includes 16 different documents, more than 18,000 words, nearly 700 variables and 80 questions.
The artificial complexity created by the mashup of different forms for different needs means added work and risk of errors. To accommodate a client who needs only a Power of Attorney requires staff to either ask the scores of questions needed to also create a Will, Trust, Codicil, Personal Property Memorandum and a dozen other documents, or to chop away at the unneeded 16,000 words and 70 questions.
How much better to have 16 separate forms that can be created singly or in Doxserá’s Sets, groups of forms that fit the need.
The biggest advantage, though, is when a modification is needed or something goes wrong. It’s much easier to manage a coherent form of manageable size instead of dragging around a beast with 16 dead-weight heads all wiggling on their own.
It’s better to use the program designed to best fit the task than trying to force a size-14 foot into a size-8 shoe. Especially so in light of our Doxserá guarantee mentioned above.
